Most frequently asked questions
"What if we require more than one dugout?"
Usually clubs have one dugout and take it to whichever ground they may be playing at. The fact that it is portable makes this very easy, however it may be because of certain circumstances or standards you wish to offer the same conditions to a visiting team or, maybe two dugouts are required to share with other teams within your club section. With this in mind we would like to offer a discounted price for the purchase of two dugouts.
Purchase of two dugouts £360 each, Inc VAT. For orders of more than two price upon request.
"What’s it like in windy conditions?"
Because the Touchline Pro dugout is portable it can be sited in the best position related to the strong wind direction. This is usually with wind direction blowing into the back of the dugout. In this position wind is not normally an issue, however if the product is likely to be left without anyone sitting in it we would advise the use of the four 200mm steel ground pegs. These are fitted into pre-drilled holes in the base seating. The holes have been designed into the base and are at a 45 degree angle for maximum hold. With these in place it very unlikely that wind will have any adverse effect upon the dugout regardless of where it is sited. However common standards of safety should be considered in very strong Gail force wind conditions.
"Does it really go up as quick as you say?"
Most definitely one of the most important areas of the product when it was designed was the ability for the dugout to be erected quickly and easily. After you have erected the Touchline Pro two or three times you should be able to have it up and ready for use within two minutes - quicker if there are two erecting it. The same applies for disassembly.
"Do you have to fit the tops all the time?"
No Not at all, if the weather is kind and the conditions good use the Touchline Pro for a bench seat only. This keeps players together staying focused and looking professional. If the weather then changes..direct sunshine or unexpected rain showers the tops can be fitted within a minute or so. Great idea for those pre-season summer tournaments or coaching sessions.
"What about spare parts?"
Everything that has been purchased with your Touchline Pro product can be obtained as a single item. There is no worry of having to purchase a complete unit if one item gets lost or damaged.
We offer a full 12 month warranty on the Touchline Pro portable dugout, However we do have the right to request sight of the damaged or non functioning part prior to providing a replacement
‘’What colour can I have the Touchline Pro in?"
As a company we made a decision to offer the tops in the colour shown on our website. This was for two reasons. First we took advice from FA officials and chose a colour that would not cause a problem with colour clash for example, a red top would give a potential problem if one of the teams shirts were red also. Second it was a way of reducing manufacturing costs. By having a standard colour we were able to purchase the material in greater volume and of course buy better…. Reflecting in our selling price.
"How many players can sit in it?"
Without question four adults.
Depending on age and size; under 10s up to six; 10s-14s five, above 14s it becomes a little more difficult because of the size of some players in these age groups. But please consider that right now there is no other product available to offer the kind of flexibility offered by the Touchline Pro. The nearest product with seats built in would cost around £900 each and is certainly not portable. If your require the option of seating more players and officials it is still more cost effective to buy two and then you could have seating for up to eight adults or 12 children.
